Eine Autobahn für den Cyberspace?

Jeffrey Carr:

The existing Internet remains as-is for those users who don’t want to give up their low cost access or the freedom to communicate behind anonymous proxies and user names. But for those businesses and institutions who comprise our critical infrastructure (banks, the power grid, air traffic control, etc.), and for those individuals who are willing to pay to play (and work) on a state of the art network, they should have that option. And in fact, some already do on private networks like TeraGrid, TransLight, and JGN2.

The Internet is a series of tubes fällt mir da als erstes ein. Leider führt er nicht ganz aus, wie genau er sich das vorstellt (keine Netzneutralität?).
